The Speaker waived the Finance Committee referral for the following                                 
at the request of Representative Williams, Co-chair:                                                
                                                                                                    
     HOUSE BILL NO. 23                                                                              
     "An Act relating to court-ordered restitution and compensation                                 
     following a criminal conviction."                                                              
                                                                                                    
HB 23 was removed from the Finance Committee and referred to the                                    
Rules Committee for placement on the calendar.
